May 2019

This year I’ve moved my main NYC studio into my home, to focus on drawing, watercolors, and making small oil paintings as I further develop what feels like my “ear”:  to listen in the quiet, to see through what’s there, to feel what is in and around me as I move through the world absorbing and then come home to remember, interpret, and express.

At the same time, on other days, I am experimenting further in plaster in a light-filled room in East Hampton, starting to incorporate my surroundings there, including sand and stones.
